The Ministry of Justice recognized video blogger Purkin and journalist Luchenko as foreign agents.

Video blogger Dmitry Purkin, journalist Ksenia Luchenko and human rights activist Lutfiya Zudieva were added to the register of foreign agents. This was reported on the website of the Russian Ministry of Justice on May 16.

"Purkin <...> he disseminated false information about decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies, as well as false information aimed at creating a negative image of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," the ministry noted.

It is specified that he participated in the creation and dissemination of messages and materials of foreign agents and opposed the special military operation in Ukraine.

In addition to Purkin, Luchenko and Zudieva were included in the list of foreign agents with similar charges, as well as the international public organization Independent Association of Doctors, the European Petersburg socio-political movement and the Zemsky Congress organization.
