The media reported the deaths of more than 100 people in the Gaza Strip due to IDF strikes.

More than 100 people were killed in the Gaza Strip as a result of strikes by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). This was reported on May 16 by Al Jazeera TV channel with reference to the Ministry of Health.

"Since dawn today, more than 100 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes throughout the Gaza Strip. Dozens of people are missing under the rubble of destroyed buildings," the publication says.

According to the TV channel, the Israeli military, among other things, hit a civilian car in Gaza. Four people were killed in the attack, including three children.

Al Jazeera reports that according to the Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip, during the conflict, at least 53.1 thousand Palestinians were killed and almost 120 thousand more were injured due to IDF strikes.

Meanwhile, Israel is planning a new military operation.

The day before, on May 15, Al Jazeera TV channel, citing the Ministry of Health, reported that at least 84 Palestinians had died as a result of Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip over the past day. It is specified that the IDF attacked the Jabalia refugee camp, killing about 50 people.

On May 13, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the country's army would enter the Gaza Strip in the coming days to completely defeat the radical Palestinian movement Hamas. According to him, the fighting will not stop until the goal is achieved.
