RFU fined the head coach of FC Spartak for offensive behavior


The head coach of the Moscow football club Spartak, Deyan Stankovich, was fined 250 thousand rubles for abusive behavior. This was announced to reporters on May 16 by the chairman of the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU KDK). Artur Grigoryants.
"We have decided to fine head coach Stankovich 250,000 rubles for the offensive behavior of a club official towards an opponent, which did not result in removal and was not indicated in the match report," he said.
According to Grigoryants, the Spartak coach showed a "gesture of counting bills," which was inappropriate and unprofessional. Stankovich himself did not admit that he had shown just such a sign, the head of the RFU KDK clarified.
The day before, Spartak lost to the Rostov club with a score of 2:1. Midfielder Kirill Shchetinin (31st minute) and striker Nikolay Komlichenko (78th minute) scored for Rostov. Spartak's only goal was scored by striker Levi Garcia in the 76th minute of the match.
