Neural network has identified the leaders of the Russian AI industry

The AI Awards 2025 award ceremony, where the winners were selected by the neural network, took place on May 15. The event brought together leading experts in the field of artificial intelligence, representatives of business, science and government. The MAER media holding acted as the general partner of the award.

"I think we have a lot of good examples in AI, pilot cases, and very good technologies. If we are talking about the state, then at the moment we can identify three tasks that we set for ourselves. The first is to form some groundwork for the future, so we still need to develop the scientific component. The second is to ensure the mass adoption of those technologies that already exist, which have already proven their effectiveness. The third is to train personnel, because it is clear that competition will increase," said Maksut Shadaev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media.

The AI Awards, organized by Beeline Big Data & AI, has become a key platform for demonstrating achievements in the field of artificial intelligence for the second year in a row. This year, the award went beyond the traditional awarding, turning into a large-scale event where trends, challenges and prospects for the development of AI in Russia were discussed.

The neural network identified the leaders in 10 nominations. Thus, the Higher School of Economics became the winner in the field of education, and Sberbank in the banking sector. Konstantin Mayor, founder and CEO of the MAER media holding, presented the award to the winner in the "AI in Industry" nomination. It was awarded to Andrey Korolev, Deputy Director for Information and Digital Technologies at Rosatom State Corporation. The MAER media holding acted as the general partner of the award. In just two weeks, 2.5 million Muscovites saw information about the AI Awards.

"Artificial intelligence has ceased to be the technology of the future — it is already here, and its impact on business, economy and society cannot be overestimated.
