The expert named the main problems of operating Chinese cars

Chinese passenger cars have improved slightly in quality over the past few years, especially in materials and assembly. This is due to the active introduction of new technologies and innovative solutions. Alexey Ivanov, the owner of the ALLIANCE TRUCKS commercial vehicle dealership network, told Izvestia on May 19 what problems the owners of the Chinese might face.
"Against the background of the increasing number of Chinese cars on the global market, there are still questions about long—term reliability, in particular, regarding suspension components and electrics, which can wear out faster than those of Western brands," the expert said.
Also, according to him, there are difficulties with after-sales service and the availability of spare parts in remote markets. Additionally, it is worth considering possible problems with the quality of the iron itself and its strength, which sometimes leads to problems with the car frame and body damage during strong impacts.
China is actively investing in electrification, which makes new models presented by local brands competitive amid the growing popularity of electric vehicles. For example, brands such as BYD, NIO and Xpeng offer electric vehicles with good autonomy characteristics and advanced autonomous driving technologies.
"New models with improved performance are expected to appear on the Chinese market in the coming years. Chinese brands are expected to continue to expand their range of electric vehicles, offering more efficient batteries and improved charging infrastructure. For example, Xpeng and NIO are actively developing new models with advanced autopilot functions," Ivanov added.
Earlier, on April 24, Chekmarev told Izvestia how to prepare a car for a long trip. He drew attention to the fact that before setting off, it is necessary to check whether there is enough engine oil in the engine.
