HC Salavat Yulaev has signed a new contract with head coach Kozlov

Ufa hockey club Salavat Yulaev has signed a new contract with head coach Viktor Kozlov. This was announced on May 16 by the club's press service.

"Salavat Yulaev's head coach Viktor Kozlov has signed a new contract," the HC website says.

It is specified that the agreement will be valid for two years.

Kozlov has been leading the Salavat Yulaev team since 2022. In the Fonbet Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season 2024/25, the club took the second position in the Eastern Conference. In the playoffs, the team reached the semifinals, where they lost to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl with a score of 1-4 in the series.

On April 27, HC Avangard extended the contract with head coach Guy Boucher and his assistant Dave Barr until the end of the 2026/27 season. According to Alexey Sopin, the team's general manager, this decision shows that the club has a stable situation that should develop in the same direction.
