Calculations of FPV drones destroyed the control points of the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region

Russian military personnel used FPV drones to destroy control points for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation in the Kharkiv region. This was announced on May 16 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

They noted that the control points of the Ukrainian drones were identified in a wooded area by means of aerial reconnaissance of the Zapad group of forces.

"After determining and confirming the exact coordinates of the enemy's locations using the Orlan UAV, a decision was made to fire at enemy UAV control points," the department said.

The objective control footage shows the detonation of ammunition in enemy positions and the complete destruction of control points by UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry released footage of the liberation of the village of Mikhaylovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) by the military of the Center group of forces. According to the ministry, during the liberation of the settlement, the assault units practically did not use artillery and attack UAVs, having achieved success mainly through small arms combat.
