Sobyanin praised the work of the Moscow House of Public Organizations

The Moscow House of Public Organizations (MDOO) has created a full-fledged ecosystem of support for non-profit organizations in the capital for 25 years, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his Telegram channel.
He noted that thanks to the work of MDOO, special spaces operate in every district of Moscow, where NGOs have access to free services, educational services and other opportunities.
In 2016, with the support of the Moscow House of Public Organizations, a network of NGO coworking centers was created. Here, organizations can book individual workplaces with free internet and auditoriums for events. Some coworking spaces are equipped with kitchens for cooking classes, a stage and a concert hall.
In 2022, a studio appeared for recording podcasts and video lectures, broadcasting and photo shoots. In addition, the NGO Lab program has been launched with advanced training courses, consultations and the Mentoring format.
According to Sobyanin, Moscow is the flagship among Russia's regions for working with NGOs. Other cities are adopting the experience of the capital. For example, last year the Sphere of Action House of Public Organizations opened in Novosibirsk, modeled on the Moscow network of coworking centers.
