Court in Rostov arrested a policeman who organized illegal migration

The court arrested the head of the migration Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Rostov region, who is suspected of abuse of office and organization of illegal migration. This was reported on May 16 in the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Rostov region.

"In relation to the head of the migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Rostov region, suspected of abuse of office and organization of illegal migration, at the request of the investigator, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention," follows from a publication in the Telegram channel of the department.

It is specified that the investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.

On May 14, investigators opened a criminal case under Article 286 ("Abuse of official authority") and Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organization of illegal migration") against the head of the migration department of the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the head of one of the departments of the department. The attackers created conditions for the illegal stay of foreigners in the Russian Federation.
