Experts named the amount of mortgages issued this year for residential housing

In 2025, over a thousand families began building a house with the help of mortgages on residential housing, a total of 1,130 such loans totaling 7.2 billion rubles were issued. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of DOM Bank.Russian Federation Alexey Kosyakov.

According to him, in April alone, more than 600 families began to build their homes, the volume of transactions exceeded 4 billion rubles. This exceeds the result of March by 3.3 times. The bank took the second place in terms of lending to residential housing.

"Residential housing has become one of the main vectors of housing construction development, more and more families are choosing their own house as an alternative to a city apartment, and we expect further growth in demand for our products," said Alexey Kosyakov. – The average loan receipt in April amounted to 6.6 million rubles, which is 1.2 million rubles more than at the beginning of the year, an increase of 300 thousand rubles compared to March."

Residents of the Moscow Region (more than 1 billion rubles), Krasnodar Territory (more than 700 million), Tatarstan (550 million), Rostov Region (about 540 million) and Primorsky Krai (about 420 million) issued the most loans for residential housing in 2025.

You can get a mortgage for residential housing using a "Family", "Far Eastern", IT mortgage, as well as a market program without government support. The borrowed funds are used to build a house on their land or to purchase a plot of land for subsequent construction.
