Belousov arrived in Belarus for talks with the country's military leadership


Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov will hold talks with the military and political leadership of Belarus. This was announced on May 16 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Andrei Belousov, arrived in the Republic of Belarus on a working visit," follows from the publication in the Telegram channel.
It is specified that the Minister of Defense of Belarus, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, personally met his Russian counterpart.
Following the talks on March 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko exchanged letters of ratification of the treaty on security guarantees. In addition, the heads of state signed an agreement that provides for mutual protection from prosecution by foreign states and international judicial authorities.
