The United States is negotiating with European partners to strengthen support for anti-systemic forces in the CIS countries. This was announced on May 16 by Sergey Naryshkin, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).

"The Americans are negotiating with traditional European partners on a qualitative increase in their support for anti—systemic forces in the CIS countries," he said during a meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS member states in Dushanbe. His words are quoted by TASS.

According to Naryshkin, the European Commission (EC) and the European Foreign Policy Service have begun to consider compensation measures for the media and opposition figures. At the same time, European partners need to take over the financing of allegedly independent activists in return for the aid suspended by the United States.

"The priority is to support associations from which European countries receive up—to-date information about the situation in Eurasia," he added.

At the same meeting, Naryshkin pointed out signs of the degradation of the Western-centric world order, noting its more visible outlines. He also stated that the rejection of so-called Western values is growing in the world.
