The settlements of Polysaevo, Nikitinsky and Myski in the Kemerovo region (Kuzbass) were left without electricity due to the lack of voltage at the substation. This was announced by the regional authorities on May 16.
It is noted that due to the shutdown of two overhead power lines, almost 30 thousand people were left without electricity.
According to the Ministry of Coal Industry of Kuzbass, three mines in the region are currently being evacuated due to the accident.
"People come to the surface through emergency exits. The situation is under control," the text of the ministry's statement is reported by TASS.
As indicated to the agency by the Ministry of Coal Industry of the region, evacuation of three mines in Kuzbass is currently underway due to an accident at a transformer substation.
In April, the Minister of Fuel and Energy of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Voronkin, announced that more than 12,000 people were left without electricity due to technological disruptions in the networks. The regional Prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the blackout in Yalta and neighboring towns.
