The balance indicated the expansion of control of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dnieper Delta

The Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) have fortified themselves in the Dnieper River delta and are ready for any eventuality. This was announced on May 16 by the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo.

"The operational situation in the southern direction allows us to talk about increasing our capabilities. The Russian Armed Forces are consistently expanding their control in the Dnieper Delta. This does not mean that a large—scale operation will begin tomorrow — the command makes specific decisions," he told RIA Novosti.

Baldo added that the Russian military is acting precisely and, if necessary, is ready for any development of events.

The new formations will combine aerial, ground and sea drones.

On May 15, Russian Guards shot down 15 enemy drones that were trying to attack infrastructure facilities in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. The Ukrainian drones were handed over to the competent authorities for examination.
