In Moscow, due to sporting events, traffic will be restricted on the Garden Ring and a number of streets. Roads will be closed at various times from May 17 to May 19, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate announced in its Telegram channel on May 16. The agency urged drivers to choose alternative routes.

So, next Saturday, from midnight to 8 p.m., traffic will be restricted along Zubovskaya Street (from Dashkova Lane to Bolshaya Pirogovskaya Street), along Bolshaya Pirogovskaya Street (from Zubovskaya Street to Elansky Street) and in Devichy Pole Passage (from Plushykha Street to Zubovskaya Street).

From 6 a.m. until the end of the event, drivers will face restrictions on the Garden Ring in both directions, and on Zubovskaya Street (from Dashkova Lane to the Garden Ring). And from 13:30 hours until the end of the events — on Plyushykha Street (from Devichy Pole Passage to Elansky Street) and Elansky Street (from Plyushykha Street to Bolshaya Pirogovskaya Street).

On Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., traffic will be restricted along Kosygina Street (from Leninsky Prospekt to Vorobyovskoye Highway). And on Monday, May 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. — in the villages of Zhokhovo, Pochinki, Meshkovo, Mavrino and Chernetskoye.

The day before, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate announced that it would hold a three-day "Drunk Driver" preventive event in the capital. The raid will take place from May 16 to May 18.
