In Bashkiria, a criminal case was opened on violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities after an explosion at a paraffin production plant in Salavat. This was reported on May 16 in the press service of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the republic.

"The Investigative Department for the city of Salavat of the SU IC of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan has opened a criminal case on violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities (Part 1 of Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the Telegram channel says.
