On May 16, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Bashkortostan published footage from the explosion site at a paraffin production plant in Bashkir Salavat.

It is specified that according to preliminary data, as a result of a violation of the technological process, the furnace equipment was depressurized, followed by the destruction of the building and gorenje.

Currently, an open fire on the territory of the enterprise has been eliminated.

The explosion at the Candle LLC paraffin production plant was reported earlier that day. 43 people and 17 pieces of equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the incident. Later it became known that as a result of the incident, three people were urgently taken to the hospital in serious condition. The regional prosecutor's office has also begun checking what happened.
