Naryshkin pointed to the signs of degradation of the Western-centric world order

Multipolarity is now becoming more and more visible. This was stated on May 16 by Sergey Naryshkin, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation, during a meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS member states in Dushanbe.
"Multipolarity <...> is becoming more and more visible. Today, more than ever before, there are signs of the degradation of the Western—centric world order," he said, noting that the rejection of so-called Western values is growing in the world. His words are quoted by TASS.
According to Naryshkin, the United States is negotiating with European countries to increase their support for anti-systemic forces in the CIS countries. European partners should take over the financing of allegedly independent activists in return for the aid suspended by the American side, the director of the SVR emphasized.
On May 10, Senator Alexei Pushkov, Chairman of the Russian Federation's Commission on Information Policy and Media Relations, said that Russia plays a key role in establishing a new world order based on multipolarity. He also commented on Western press reports about the Victory Day Parade in Moscow.
According to him, the common thought is the desire of Western countries to isolate Russia in the international arena.
