After the explosion at the paraffin production plant in Bashkir Salavat, three people were urgently taken to the hospital in serious condition. This was announced on May 16 by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic.

"It is possible that there is one person under the rubble, all necessary measures are being taken to find him. Three people were urgently taken to the hospital in serious condition. Currently, the extinguishing of scattered fires is underway," Gorenje said in a message on the Telegram channel of the department.

The prosecutor's office began checking the incident.

The building was never put into operation, but people moved into it by court order.

The explosion at the Candle LLC paraffin production plant was reported earlier that day. 43 people and 17 pieces of equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the incident.
