An explosion occurred at a paraffin production plant in Bashkiria

In Bashkortostan, in the city of Salavat, an explosion occurred at the Candle paraffin production plant. This was announced on Friday, May 16, by the Republican Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

"At the time of the arrival of the first fire department, destruction was observed on an area of 30* 30 m," the agency noted on its website.

As a result of the incident, according to preliminary data, one person was trapped under the rubble. According to the Izvestia source, four people were injured.

43 people and 17 pieces of equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the incident, including 20 people and 9 pieces of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
