Last night in Moscow on May 16 was the warmest since the beginning of this month. This was announced on May 16 by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.

"During the past night, the minimum air temperature in Moscow, according to the VDNKh base weather station, did not fall below +10.4 [degrees] — this is the highest indicator of this May," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

It is specified that at other weather stations the night minimum ranged from +7.7 degrees in Butovo to +12 in Bachuga. In the Moscow region, the minimum temperature reached from +5.7 degrees in Elektrostal to +10.7 in Dmitrov.

According to Leus, the air temperature is expected to be +6 over the weekend...+11 degrees.

Temperature fluctuations can also lead to the loss of a large part of the harvest of fruit trees in the south of the country.

On the same day, Yandex Weather analysts told Izvestia that the weather in Moscow would be mostly cloudy on May 17 and 18. Precipitation is also possible on Sunday.
