In the Zaporizhia region, the Russian Guard found a cache of weapons in the house of an AFU militant.

In the Zaporizhia region, Rosgvardiya special forces found a cache of weapons and ammunition in the house of a militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The ministry was informed about this on May 16.

"The cache was found by soldiers of the Rosgvardiya special forces unit and military counterintelligence officers during targeted events," the Telegram channel clarified.

As a result of the work carried out, the special forces seized a grenade launcher, an AK-74 assault rifle, ammunition related to small arms, and hand grants. It is specified that all items were transferred to the interacting authorities.

According to experts, in this way the authorities intend to legalize the smuggling flow.

Earlier, on May 13, representatives of the Russian Guard found a cache of explosive objects near a forest belt in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). The place where the explosives were located was discovered by a service dog after aerial reconnaissance of the area.
