Muscovites from the Southern Administrative District of the capital regularly help participants in the special military operation and residents of new and border regions. This was announced on Friday, May 16, according to the official website of the Mayor of Moscow.

They said that the townspeople come to the "Houses of Kindness", as well as the headquarters for collecting humanitarian aid "Moscow helps". The Peresvet family sports club has also been opened in the Southern Administrative District, which organizes events for parents with children and collects aid for fighters.

"The capital has a large number of opportunities to help ITS participants, residents, including children, in new and border territories <...> Since the beginning of the headquarters, Muscovites have handed over more than 4.69 million items of goods," said Alexander Levit, director of the Mosvolonter resource center.

Construction materials, medical supplies, groceries, personal hygiene products, necessary clothing, camouflage nets, trench candles and stoves are regularly sent to the front lines.

Earlier, on May 11, Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital, announced that comprehensive assistance was being provided to the participants of the SVR, their families, residents of new regions and victims in the border areas in Moscow.

Also, the headquarters of the Moscow Helps campaign have been opened in all districts, where humanitarian parcels are accepted — food, books and toys for children, personal hygiene products. And the capital's entrepreneurs send their goods to the front — products with a long shelf life, warm clothes, household supplies.
