The Ministry of Defense published footage of the destruction of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the south Donetsk area of its territory.

On May 16, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the destruction of camouflaged military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by calculations of Lancet unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Vostok group of forces in the south Donetsk military district.

During the combat work, operators of reconnaissance drones of the Vostok group of forces identified camouflaged military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in one of the forest belts near the village of Zelenoe Pole. After analyzing the intelligence received and identifying the target, it was decided to fire.

Soldiers of the Guards combined arms army of the Vostok group of forces hit a tank of Ukrainian formations with a high-precision Lancet barrage ammunition.

According to the Russian president, conditions have now appeared for further successful actions by our troops in other sectors of the front.

On May 15, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that an army aviation crew on a Ka-52M helicopter struck the control center and the launch site of the Armed Forces of Ukraine drones. The ministry noted that the attack on enemy positions was carried out by aircraft missiles. After successfully destroying the target, the crew performed an escape maneuver and returned to the departure airfield.
