Calculations of attack UAVs disrupted the rotation of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the South Donetsk direction

Calculations of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the combined arms army of the Vostok group of forces disrupted the rotation of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the south Donetsk area of the SVR. This was announced on May 16 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that by means of aerial reconnaissance of one of the units of the Vostok group of forces in the forest belt, an accumulation of AFU personnel in positions was detected.

UAVs equipped with thermal imaging cameras were used to carry out the combat mission, which made it possible to effectively detect targets in conditions of limited visibility. After confirming the data, the calculations used attack drones with an ammunition drop system and inflicted fire damage on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
