In Samara, the new owner of the private boarding house "RVTS Zelenaya Roscha" tried to evict about a hundred elderly people, including bedridden ones. This was reported on Thursday, May 15, in the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"Information has been posted on social media that in Samara, the new owner is evicting about a hundred elderly people from a private boarding house," the statement said.

The Investigative Committee began an investigation into the fact of causing serious harm to people (Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the acting head of the Investigative Department (SU) for the Samara region, Alexander Voevodin, to open a criminal case and submit a report on the interim results of the investigation.

Earlier, on September 5, 2024, the court arrested the owner of a nursing home in Kazan, where pensioners were bullied. In an illegal nursing home, 22 pensioners lived in unsanitary conditions, and the staff handcuffed them. Real estate belonging to elderly guests in an illegal boarding house was reissued to outsiders. Criminal cases have been initiated into these crimes.
