Moscow will hold a festival in Beijing as part of the cross-cultural years


The Moscow Seasons in Beijing festival will be held in the capital of China from June 12 to 15. It will be held as part of the cross-cultural years of Russia and China, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.
"Exhibitions and concerts, creative workshops and food tastings are planned as part of the festival. Visitors will be introduced to the cultural and historical heritage of the Russian capital, its modern development, eventful agenda and gastronomy," said the Vice Mayor.
The program includes opera and ballet, dance classes, workshops on making souvenirs and toys from wool.
The Moscow tourist information center will operate on the site, where they will tell you about the sights, interesting routes, places for family holidays, exhibitions and various events in the Russian capital.
On June 13, the conference "Cities of the Future. The synergy of the strategic partnership between Moscow and Beijing". Representatives of such spheres as trade, technology, culture, creative industries and tourism will take part in it. Experts will discuss new opportunities for cooperation.
Last year, Moscow and Beijing agreed to share their experience and implement joint projects in various fields. This winter, as part of the cross-Cultural Years, the capital's Chinese New Year festival was held. About 1.5 million people took part in it.
