On May 15, new developments in the field of unmanned aircraft and flying delivery robots were presented at the HeliRussia exhibition.

One of the key innovations was the unmanned aircraft of the United Aviation Corporation (UAC). According to the designer and company representative Evgeny Rubtsov, this device is designed for automatic cargo delivery.

"At point A, you loaded some cargo, <...> the folding part of the fuselage was closed, the destination was selected, and the drone automatically performs flight. <...> In fact, it is a flying delivery robot," Rubtsov said.

The Eyburg company demonstrated drones, in which almost all components and developments are Russian. Among the presented models are devices for transporting goods weighing up to 30 kg and up to 150 kg.

"We have presented the cabin of the Mi-8 helicopter completely of our design, our manufacture, our panel indicators and calculators," said Nikolai Burdin, a representative of Eiburg.

HeliRussia not only provides an opportunity to showcase the achievements of the Russian industry, but also attracts the best global companies to the country's market, as well as promotes international cooperation. In addition, the exhibition serves as a platform for business negotiations with foreign partners.

The 18th International Helicopter Industry and Unmanned Aircraft Systems Exhibition HeliRussia is taking place from May 15 to 17 in the Moscow region at the Crocus Expo exhibition complex.

Earlier, on February 5, Rostec State Corporation announced that the PD-8 aircraft engine for the SJ-100 airliner would be presented at the NAIS-2025 exhibition. It is noted that the engine was created using the latest Russian materials and advanced technologies. The leading enterprises of the aviation industry of the Russian Federation were involved in its development.
