Humorous comments on money transfers can lead to litigation and even getting blacklisted by the bank. About this Lenta.Ru was told at the Roskachestvo Financial Expertise Center on Thursday, May 15.

Experts explained that there are cases when people jokingly leave comments like "explosives" or "bribe" in the payment assignment. This may result in blocking not only the transfer, but also the account, and possibly involving the investigative authorities.

In this scenario, the sender of the transfer will have to prove to the bank the validity of such transactions in writing, and in the future the bank may blacklist the person.

"Transfers made between individuals, in principle, do not need to specify the purpose of the payment. The comment field can be left empty," Roskachestvo emphasized.

They added that if the recipient of the transfer conducts commercial activities, the bank should know about it. The bank determines such activity not only by comments, but also by the regularity and number of transactions, amounts of transfers and taxes.

Earlier on May 15, the press service of the Bank of Russia reported that the Russian Federation would limit the possibility of withdrawing and cashing money for a certain category of citizens. We are talking about so—called droppers, people whose bank cards are used to move money when making fraudulent transactions, the website clarifies. kp.ru . So, from May 15, citizens who are included in the database of the Bank of Russia on fraudulent transactions will not be able to transfer more than 100 thousand rubles to themselves and other people within a month, writes RT. This is done so that a person can only perform really important operations, but cannot participate in criminal schemes of stealing and cashing money.

The Central Bank urged not to transfer money to strangers and not to share their online banking data with anyone, NSN reports.

In addition, credit institutions are required to develop documents on the procedure for implementing measures to counteract the conclusion of consumer loan agreements without the consent of the client, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

On May 14, lawyer Ilya Rusyaev said that the new limits on money transfers will begin to operate in Russia on May 30, 2025. He explained that the main goal of the initiative is to strengthen control over financial flows that take place without full—fledged checks. 360.ru .

Lawyer Denis Tsyplakov reported on April 28 that the problem of involving children and teenagers in dropper schemes requires urgent attention from parents, law enforcement agencies and financial institutions.
