Almost half of Russians declared their desire to live in a skyscraper

49% of Russians would like to buy apartments in a high-rise building, panoramic views are the decisive factor for 40% of respondents, and architecture and futuristic appearance of such houses are important for another 20%. This follows from the data of the MR company's research, which was reviewed by Izvestia on May 16.
A total of 1.2 thousand respondents took part in the survey, 25% of the participants noted that when choosing an apartment, it is important for them to have an air purification system. In addition, 17% said that skyscrapers often have an attractive set of internal infrastructure: landscaped green areas, fitness centers with pools and spas, operational roofs with terraces, comfortable lobbies with relaxation areas and meeting rooms.
"The concept of a "vertical city" is finding more and more supporters among buyers of new buildings. In the coming years, the infrastructure of skyscrapers will develop more actively, new service formats will appear, focused on the individual needs of residents," said Zhanna Makhova, Deputy General Director for Strategy and Product at MR.
On April 18, Izvestia got acquainted with a study by Aeon Development, which showed that almost half of residents of large cities in Russia save up to 100,000 rubles a month to buy an apartment. At the same time, more than a third of respondents noted that every month they accumulate more than 200 thousand rubles for the purchase of housing.
