Pakistan and India have extended the ceasefire until May 18.

The Pakistani and Indian militaries agreed to extend the ceasefire regime until May 18. This was announced by Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar during a speech in the country's parliament.
"After discussions, the ceasefire was extended first until May 12, then until May 14, and now it has been extended until May 18," Samaa TV channel quoted him as saying.
He clarified that the ceasefire agreement was reached during a new telephone conversation between the commanders of military operations of the two countries.
Dar also announced the victory of Pakistan in the armed conflict and the destruction of six Indian Air Force aircraft and one drone.
Relations between Pakistan and India have been strained since the terrorist attack on April 22 near the Indian city of Pahalgam in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir. 27 civilians were killed. On May 7, the Indian Ministry of Defense announced the start of the Sindoor military operation against Pakistan. According to Samaa, Islamabad launched retaliatory missile strikes on Indian territory.
On May 10, Pakistan and India agreed on a ceasefire. US President Donald Trump noted that this happened with the mediation of the United States.
