Russian President Vladimir Putin has become Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). The relevant decree was published on May 15 on the website of the Internet portal for publishing legal information.

The Russian leader also approved the attached composition of the Academy's Board of Trustees.
