Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended the Russian defense plan until 2027. The relevant decree of the head of state was published on May 15 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

According to the text of the document, Putin extended the decree "On the implementation of the Defense Plan of the Russian Federation for 2021-2025" for two years.
