Members of an extremist organization have been detained in Moscow, and a criminal case is being investigated on the grounds of a crime under Parts 1, 2, and 3 of Articles 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organization of the activities of an extremist organization"), the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the capital reported on May 15.
According to investigators, from November 2023 to September 2024, three defendants from among the employees of Individuum Print LLC, which publishes books and prints, published and sold books promoting LGBT activities for selfish reasons (the movement is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
