Over 40 thousand gift sets were distributed to young passengers of the Moscow metro during the campaign dedicated to the anniversary of the Moscow subway. This was stated by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry.

He noted that the children were given gifts that would be useful in their studies. Souvenirs with the children's character of Moscow transport, Metroshii, could be obtained at 30 "Live Communication" counters. The kits included, in particular, a keychain with the functionality of the Troika card, a badge on a shoestring for the card, a cloth bag and stationery. The children were also given educational puzzles and soft toys in the form of a Metrosh.

According to Liksutov, this action was the largest among such events, during which gifts were presented to young passengers.

"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we are creating a festive atmosphere in public transport in honor of major city and state events, such as the launch of through traffic on the Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line, New Year's Eve or March 8," Liksutov said.

The characters of the project "Moscow transport. For children" — Metrosha, Rechkin and Electric Bus — appeared in 2023. Their main task is to tell young passengers about the rules of travel and safety measures.

Last year, Metrosha appeared on the posters of the project "Lost — don't leave", launched in 2021. Stickers with rules of conduct are currently posted at all Moscow metro stations for children in case they lose sight of their accompanying adults. In three years, the project has helped to find several dozen children.
