UAZ has equipped the "Loaf" with a new option

The entire UAZ SGR ("Loaf") model range received silent door stops. The first cars with the new system have already rolled off the assembly line, the press service of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant told Izvestia on May 15.
The difference between limiters is that they work quieter than before. In other words, there are practically no sounds when opening and closing doors, the company said.
"The improved locking mechanism securely locks the doors in the desired position and protects them from damage in cramped conditions," the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant said.
There are no plans to remove the "Loaves" from production yet. As Alexey Spirin, CEO of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, previously told Izvestia, the model will continue to remain on the assembly line as long as there is steady demand. The UAZ SGR family of cars has been produced at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant for 67 years.
On March 27, it was reported that the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant will begin equipping cars of the new and old UAZ model ranges with engines of an improved design. The improved ZMZ 409th family engines will receive the Patriot, Pickup, Pro and Loaf models. The updated motor elements will be mass-supplied to the assembly line in the second quarter of this year.
