- Deputy Kharchenko spoke about the unique Russian platform for scientists

Russia is making a breakthrough in technology and moving away from its foreign counterparts. This was announced on May 15 by Ekaterina Kharchenko, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, following a press conference "Science without Borders: open access to the world's largest scientific knowledge base."
She noted that during the event, the Inventorus platform was presented, which combines a large number of sources of scientific and technological information, patents and international publications. Moreover, the program has open access for all Russian researchers and industrial companies, the deputy emphasized.
"An opportunity has been created to establish communications between business, science, industrial companies and research teams, and to create personal cabinets for scientists. This platform will accelerate the process of transforming the results of fundamental research into applied results, technologies, and products for the national economy and society as a whole," Kharchenko said.
The Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee thanked all the Inventorus creators, especially paying attention to the possibility of open access to the program materials for scientists.
"This is very important so that in the 21st century Russia does not really catch up with foreign partners or competitors in import substitution, but rather creates new technologies so that we can achieve a technological breakthrough as soon as possible," Kharchenko concluded.
On April 20, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin announced that Russia occupies a leading global position in digitalization. He clarified that programs to replace foreign information and communication technologies are showing results.
