The Ministry of Defense showed footage of the raising of the Russian flag over the Ukrainian one in the DPR

Soldiers of the assault units of the 67th Motorized Rifle Division of the 25th Combined Arms Army of the Zapad group of forces set up Russian flags to mark the liberation of the Torskoye settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The footage was published on May 15 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

In the video, military personnel eliminated enemy military equipment during offensive operations, cleared houses and structures from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using drones. In addition, the soldiers erected flags of the Russian Federation to mark their release.

Earlier in the day, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov congratulated the military personnel of the division on the liberation of the village of Torskoye. In addition, he noted that more than 9,900 soldiers of the division received state and departmental awards for their bravery.
