Investigators have opened a criminal case against Evgeny Valeev, General Director of Zabaikalazsservice LLC, who stole property worth 22 million rubles during the implementation of the State defense Order (GOZ). This was reported on May 15 in the press service of the Main Military Investigative Directorate (GVSU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"The military investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation have opened a criminal case against Evgeny Valeev, General Director of Zabaikalazsservice LLC, who committed theft of property while fulfilling a state defense order (Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," follows from a publication in the Telegram channel.

The investigation found that the company, in the course of fulfilling the state order, concluded a contract for the provision of property storage services, the execution of which was to be supervised by Valeev.

According to the press service of the department, from August to October 2024, the attacker stole over 22 million rubles worth of state property, which was in his custody.

It is specified that law enforcement officers seized Valeev's property in the amount of more than 9 million rubles. The investigation of the case is under the control of the GVSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

On May 5, Ivan Dmitriev, CEO of Creative LLC, was arrested in the Khabarovsk Territory, who was suspected of embezzling 650 million rubles during the implementation of the State Defense Order. Dmitriev supervised the execution of construction works. It was clarified. that the attacker disposed of the funds paid as an advance at his own discretion.
