The Kuban River bank collapsed in Nevinnomyssk

The bank of the Kuban River was washed away in Nevinnomyssk (Stavropol Territory). The ground collapsed into the water at a distance of 30 m from residential buildings, said the mayor Mikhail Minenkov.

A house on Parkovaya Street near Krasnaya Selo is under threat. The authorities regard the situation as difficult. The administration staff moved to the scene of the accident.

According to the mayor, the plastic water supply pipe to the household from the central water main was promptly restored by the copyright holder.

Officials have already drawn up an act, which will be sent to the regional authorities, writes IA StavropolMedia. As Minenkov reminded, the Kuban River is the property of Russia, and these are federal powers.
