Megafon has launched a digital platform for working with suppliers

Megafon has created a platform for working with suppliers. According to the operator's press service, "the new service is designed to develop the procurement system for equipment, components and services, as well as optimize interaction with counterparties."

Testing of the platform began at the end of last year. Since Thursday, May 15, the full functionality has become available to contractors.

"The company expects that the launch of its own platform will optimize the functionality of procurement activities, strengthen partnerships and provide additional competitive advantages in the implementation of our strategic projects," said Alexey Krutitsky, Director of Procurement and Logistics.

The new system is integrated with the operator's internal business processes and systems. Procurement tasks are automatically uploaded from the company's ERP system: suppliers get access to up-to-date data in real time. At the same time, information about all registered companies becomes available to the heads of the relevant procurement areas. In addition, the supplier automatically receives a scoring score to determine its reliability.

Potential suppliers can use the platform for free, and it does not have any financial restrictions, the company said. They also indicated that all critical information about the supplier's company, personal data, commercial offers and contractual documentation will be processed inside Megafon's corporate infrastructure.
