St. Petersburg is preparing to host SPIEF 2025

At a working meeting led by Valery Moskalenko, Vice Governor of St. Petersburg and Head of the Administration of the Governor of St. Petersburg, the implementation of the Action Plan approved by the Governor to prepare the city for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2025 was discussed.

All events are being implemented according to the schedule. Work is nearing completion on the concept of the St. Petersburg stand, which is traditionally among the most visited at the SPIEF, as well as on the list of projects that will be presented to the Forum participants. In 2025, the area of the city's exhibition and business zone will remain the same - 1,7 thousand square meters. meters.

A program of cultural and sporting events is being finalized jointly with the Roscongress Foundation. Valery Moskalenko said that the program will include events accessible to citizens. As part of the SPIEF Petersburg Seasons Cultural Festival, it is planned to hold a concert on the Palace Square with the participation of popular artists. On the eve of the SPIEF, the International multi-day cycling race "Gold of Ladoga" starts. The traditional Kronstadt Sails race and festival will be held during the Forum.

"An important point is the temporary transport restrictions, which, unfortunately, cannot be dispensed with in events of this scale. We are working with transport services to minimize inconveniences for residents. We will definitely inform you about all traffic restrictions in advance so that residents of St. Petersburg and guests of the city have the opportunity to plan the best route and set the necessary time for the road," Valery Moskalenko said.

Sanitary and epidemiological measures within the framework of SPIEF-2025 remain unchanged. A prerequisite for visiting the Forum site remains the presence of a negative Covid-19 test. Enhanced sanitary control will be introduced at the airport, railway stations, hotels and public catering facilities.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2025 will be held in St. Petersburg from June 18 to 21. The main events will be held at the Expoforum Exhibition Center.
