The official website has published the cultural program of the Russian-Chinese Forum, which will be held in Khabarovsk on May 19-20. The event will include gastronomic festivals, fairs, concerts with the participation of creative teams from Russia and China, circus performances and film screenings.
The traditional regional festival-fair "AmurFest. Spring". Residents and guests of the city will enjoy a concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The best creative teams of the Khabarovsk Territory and invited guests from China will perform on the stage. There will also be a fair of decorative and applied arts.
On May 19, from 18:00 to 19:00, Chinese circus performers will perform on Komsomolskaya Square in Khabarovsk. The acrobatic group "Wuqiao" from Beijing will show the numbers. Artists from Russia and China will perform there for two days after the opening of the Forum. Among them are the soloist of the Khabarovsk Regional Academic Musical Theater Hripsime Sehleyan and students of the Khabarovsk State Institute of Culture, including from China, the folk song ensemble "Shores of Russia", the orchestra of Russian folk instruments of the Amursk Children's Music school, the Girls ensemble, the folk choreographic ensemble "Senkure", the Tokai group and others.
As part of the cultural program of the Forum, a large-scale exhibition "Oriental Ceremony" was organized at the Far Eastern Art Museum. Visitors are presented with 45 exquisite pieces of porcelain from the end of the XIX – beginning of the XXI century from the collection of the Museum-Reserve of the History of the Far East, as well as more than 50 works of painting, graphics, sculpture and decorative arts from the funds of the Far Eastern Art Museum. The main exhibits of the exhibition are porcelain vases with classical subjects of Chinese painting: "mountains-waters", "flowers and birds", "sages", "children playing". The exhibition will be open until June 8.
In addition, the festival "Two Shores – One Amur" will be held on May 18-20. It will combine key elements of the national cultures of Russia and China. In particular, the Kitchen of the Peoples platform will be open, which will be attended by chefs from the two countries. It will feature Far Eastern, Russian, Oriental cuisines, as well as dishes traditional to Northeast China. Interactive cultural spaces "Chinatown" and "Slavic Fair" will also be organized. Thematic exhibitions are planned for them, as well as workshops on traditional crafts. An outdoor cinema will be open. Various musical groups will perform at the festival, and a festive concert will conclude it.
The Russian-Chinese Forum is organized by the Government of the Khabarovsk Territory with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, JSC Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, VEB.RF.
