Forecasters predicted cloudy weather over the weekend in Moscow

On the weekend of May 17 and 18, Muscovites expect mostly cloudy weather. No precipitation is expected on Saturday, but light rain is possible on Sunday. Yandex Weather analysts told Izvestia about this on May 16.

According to them, on Saturday, May 17, it will be cloudy in Moscow, but without precipitation. Gusts of moderate south-easterly wind will reach up to 5 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be +16 degrees, in the afternoon it will remain at +20...+21 degrees, and by nightfall it will drop to morning values. In cities near Moscow, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, the temperature during the day will be about +19 degrees.

Temperature fluctuations can also lead to the loss of a large part of the harvest of fruit trees in the south of the country.

On Sunday, May 18, the weather in Moscow will be mostly cloudy, forecasters said, and rain is expected in the afternoon. The temperature in the morning will be +15...+16 degrees, in the afternoon it will rise to +20...+21 degrees, and at night it will remain at +12...+13 degrees.

"Moderate winds are expected, gusts will reach 6 m/s in the afternoon. In the central districts of the capital (Tverskaya, Arbat, Tagansky, Yakimanka), the temperature will be 1 degree higher throughout the day than in other parts of the city," Yandex Weather clarified.

In the Moscow region, conditions will remain similar to those in the capital: light rain is expected in the afternoon, and the temperature will be at the Moscow level or a maximum of 1 degree lower.
