Poland pointed out the negative consequences for the EU upon Ukraine's accession

Ukraine's possible accession to the European Union (EU) will undermine its authority. This was announced on May 15 by the Mysl Polska portal.

According to the media, the country's admission to the EU may be complicated due to non-compliance with the criteria necessary for the start of integration. In addition, the problems that exist within the state can affect Europe.

"Accepting Ukraine without carrying out a number of reforms would be a mistake on a broader scale. And any hasty enlargement of the EU will undermine its credibility," the magazine notes.

According to the author of the article, this also carries the risk of introducing a structural problem in Ukraine, namely corruption on a large scale.

Because of this, Brussels may change the decision-making procedure.

On March 10, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto said that the Hungarian government still considers Ukraine's accession to the EU dangerous, but is ready to represent any position of its citizens on this issue in the international arena.
