Sergey Gryzov, a veteran of the special military operation (SVO) from the Vladimir region, opened his own children's theater after returning from the front. This was reported on May 15 in the Popular Front.

It is specified that Gryzov had already worked with children at the local House of Culture before his death, and made productions with teenagers. Also, the classes were often attended by children with a difficult fate. With his instructions, he was able to instill in these children a love of theater, and also taught them how to sew costumes.

"I did not think that I would return to the children. I was sure that something would break, something would change. And there was a moment of adaptation. You could say that the kids pulled me back out. I had options to work as a security guard, driver, I considered them. But an acquaintance called me, we used to study together, and offered to return. I did it at my own risk," the veteran said.

Sergei Gryzov got to the front thanks to mobilization, as he is a former paratrooper in good health. However, in battle, Gryzov was injured, which soon provoked an autoimmune disease affecting the blood vessels and spine. As a result, he finished his service and went to rehab. Now he is engaged in his own theater, in which children of different ages play.

"We have announced a competition for our new theater, and now half of the city wants to study. There were also children who have certain diseases. There was a disabled girl who studied with us. She's in surgery now, and everything's fine. When my mother saw her on stage, she started crying," Sergei Gryzov added.

In addition, he also plans to further develop in the field of theatrical art.

On March 18, it was reported that more than 350 SVO veterans from 60 regions of Russia became participants in the All-Russian Defenders of the Fatherland Cup in Winter sports. Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports and President of the Russian Olympic Committee, stressed that this competition was a significant step in the development of adaptive sports in the country.
