- The Prime Minister of Malaysia noted the grandeur of Red Square after a walk in Moscow

After a walk through Moscow during his official visit to Russia, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said he was impressed by Russian history and culture, noting the grandeur of Red Square and the beauty of St. Basil's Cathedral.
"I appreciate the grandeur of the architecture around Red Square, a historical site that witnessed important events of the Tsarist Empire, the October Revolution and the Soviet Union, and at the same time I am fascinated by the beauty of St. Basil's Cathedral, built in the 16th century," he shared on his Telegram channel.
The Prime Minister also said that between meetings he managed to visit Zaryadye Park, as well as look at the Moskva River.
Yesterday, Russian leader Vladimir Putin said that relations between Russia and Malaysia are on the rise, the countries are interested in their development, and there are all the prerequisites for this. During the talks with Ibrahim, a range of topical bilateral issues, as well as the international agenda, were discussed.
Putin noted that the official visit of the Malaysian Prime Minister to Russia and the negotiations that took place clearly demonstrate this.
