During the screening of the cinema military reconstruction "Victory! Banner over the Reichstag!", which took place from May 1 to 11 at the Moskino Film Park in Moscow, attracted about 7 thousand spectators. This was announced on May 15 on the official website of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

A smaller replica of the Reichstag was built for the production. Screens were also installed on both sides of the main entrance, on which chronicle footage and specially filmed game fragments were broadcast. At the same time, despite the weather conditions, the spectator stands were as full as possible.

The performance was attended by artists Sergey Makhovikov, Alexey Kolgan, Ivan Zamotaev, Sergey Selin, Alexey Kravchenko, Viktor Dobronravov and others. In addition, the poet Vlad Malenko, playing the role of a correspondent in the production, read his poem "The Banner of Victory." Rare military equipment was used at the performance.

"The idea to create a play about the capture of the Reichstag came to me when we were working in December on a project about the first victory near Moscow. Then Vlad Malenko played the role of a war correspondent, and I decided to continue his line. It turns out that he witnesses that battle, goes through the whole war and finally reaches the Reichstag to announce Victory to the whole world," said director Igor Ugolnikov.

In addition, professional stunt stunts were involved in the show, including hoisting the Victory Banner on a high dome. The famous Soviet songs "Katyusha", "Three Tankmen", "Dark Night" and "Victory Day" were also played.

The Moskino Film Park is part of Sergei Sobyanin's Moscow — the City of Cinema project and an object of the Moscow film cluster, which is being developed by the Moscow Department of Culture.

On May 13, the military drama "The Banner of Victory" was shown on the Big Stage of the Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army. The plot of the play is based on the story of how the Soviet army took Berlin. The director of the production was Igor Ugolnikov, People's Artist of Russia. The main roles were played by Sergey Selin, Nikolai Kozak, Sergey Kolesnikov.
