84 people have been killed in Israeli shelling in Gaza over the past day.

At least 84 Palestinians have died as a result of Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. This was reported on Thursday, May 15, by Al Jazeera TV channel with reference to the Ministry of Health.
"As a result of the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, 84 people were killed," the publication says.
It is specified that the strikes of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) killed about 50 people in the area of the Jabalia refugee camp, located in the north of the Gaza Strip. Another 10 dead were recorded in the town of Khan Yunis in the southern part of the enclave.
The publication noted that the attacks were carried out at the time of the Israeli delegation's stay in the Qatari capital of Doha to continue indirect negotiations.
Earlier, on May 12, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that about 500,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are suffering from extreme food shortages resulting from the suspension of humanitarian aid and the blockade by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). 57 children have died of starvation since March 2.
On May 14, Axios reported that the Israeli Government had agreed to resume the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Operations will begin before the end of the month.
