Russian military personnel have cleared the Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold in the south Donetsk direction.

Soldiers of the 29th Guards Combined arms army of the Vostok group of forces have cleared a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near the settlement of Bogatyr in the south Donetsk direction of a special military operation. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Thursday, May 15, showed footage of the combat work of the Russian army.

"The task was to advance towards the settlement of Bogatyr, enter, clear out strong points. On the way to Bogatyr, we found an enemy stronghold in a wooded area and decided to storm it," said the squad commander with the call sign Boxer.

To begin with, grenades were thrown into the territory of the stronghold. After that, they fired and went inside. According to Boxer, weapons manufactured in the territory of NATO countries were found inside. In addition, Russian military personnel found an ammunition depot.

"We also found their maps and means of communication, which we reported to the commander. He was tasked with securing this stronghold," the squad commander explained.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to advance along the line of contact, clear out strong points, and check forest belts.

"We are moving forward, we are constantly being coordinated by our commanders, and a bird is constantly flying over us. By any means to victory, by any means to the end. And it will come very quickly, this victory," the soldier concluded.
